Sweet Sunshine Daycare
At Sweet Sunshine Daycare we understand the importance of nurturing a child in their formative years and prize ourselves in providing and facilitating the creation of diverse experiences encompassing physical activities, varied types of organic foods, and many aspects of culture. Sweet Sunshine Daycare is a trilingual facility that exposes children to not only English, but also Spanish, Portuguese and while also providing them a diverse early cultural experience through music. Beyond our preschool curriculum, the facility provides many other programs involving physical activity like yoga, kids CrossFit and Sports, but also caters to reinforcing their exposure to Spanish, learning how to play instruments, and solving puzzles.

"I used Sweet Sunshine for my 18 month old after we moved to the area from out of state. I wasn't used to home daycares and I was very skeptical. However I fell in love and felt completely at ease when I walked in here. The owner keeps it immaculate, the toys are in great shape, the outside areas are clean and safe, and the caretakers obviously love the children. My daughter also fell in love. She was always afraid of people and cried at drop off until we came here. Then she practically ran in to see everyone and started giving lots of hugs. Picking her up in the evening was equally as easy. In the post COVID world you can rest assured that they are cleaning and taking care of themselves as well as the children. I would recommend them hands down and if I had more infants I would bring them to Sweet Sunshine."

"My daughter was placed here when she was almost a year old. I was very worried about placing her in any daycare. I have to say, she happily chose this place on our first visit. The staff is dedicated to the overall well-being of your child. The food is delicious, and they really respect dietary needs. Your child will be happy to arrive there and happy to go home with you. My daughter ended up staying there til she was four years old. Their parties are fun, and they are extremely generous with the children. She met many kind kids and parents there. Your precious child and your worries are in safe hands at Sweet Sunshine Daycare."

"Sweet Sunshine Daycare is the epitome of what a quality daycare should be: loving teachers, good student-teacher ratios, lots of outside time, an inviting indoor environment, healthy food, and a happy kid when I pick her up each day. My daughter has been at Sweet Sunshine for a year, and from the moment I met Eliana, I knew that Sweet Sunshine would provide my then 15-month old girl with a nurturing, loving environment. Vicky and Sandra are wonderful teachers and my daughter comes home talking about what she did with them each day. Eliana also brings in teachers to teach art, music, and other classes. I love that my daughter can have all of this in a home-like environment. We are moving soon, and one of the most difficult aspects will be saying good-bye to Sweet Sunshine. After interviewing 10+ daycares in our new town, nothing comes close to providing the warmth and intellectual stimulation that Eliana has created."

“Where should I start...this place is amazing. Eliana and her team are so caring and thoughtful. Our son was a little over 1 year old when he started going to this daycare. He loves it so much. Every day he is so excited to go. It means the world to us as parents. The daycare set up is just perfect. With two different spacious outdoor areas, air conditioned indoor space for those hot summer days, music classes, home cooked meals, birthday and holiday parties, artworks he brings home almost every day. She even provides a detailed list to take home with what your child eats and when, when nap time is and diaper changes. Most importantly you can tell Eliana and her team are so lovely and caring. Unfortunately due the Covid 19 times we both lost our jobs and sadly now have to leave the country to go back to Europe. Which we will work out. But we are so sad to have our son leave her place. Thank you Eliana and Team for all the love and comfort you provided to our son and the other children.”

“Our daughter started when she was 11 months old and now she is 18 months old, and i cannot be more please that she is there. At this age my daughter eat with fork and spoon, she is putting her dirty clothes in the bin for washing up, and after playing she also is putting the toys away, and all this because the way Eliana, Vicky and Glenda are teaching the kids to be. They have a music teacher as well and a storyteller, and also they cook organic food for the kids. Their dedication and passion is outstanding when is about the kids needs. I completely love the fact that Eliana and the staff are involved in the kids development and I can see how my daughter loves them, because every morning when I drop her in she raises her hands excited to see them.”

I get emotional even thinking about writing this review because how can anyone quantify the impact and value these early years of your child; entrusting that to a daycare/ school which essentially feels like an extension of your home. Filled with all the hope and love you can wish for. But such is this magical place -- it has been one of our best decisions to put our daughter here as soon as she turned 2 and she's now 5 and a half and just going to kindergarten. These 3+ years have been so wonderful, full of love and learning and immense friendships with her "classmates" and the parents we've bonded with along the way. Eliana and her diverse team of teachers all bring something to the table - yoga, soccer, art, music, preschool lessons, earth science, dance -- all of it. But at the heart of it all is the desire for what's BEST for your child. And as a parent, there's nothing more you could ask for. We have loved every minute of this journey and could not recommend her more.
